USA / ATHENS

ATHENS
Upon arrival in Athens meet your tour guide after passport control and customs for a panoramic tour of the city ending at hotel for check in. Dinner at hotel.
DAY 3
ATHENS
Following breakfast, meet your expert guide and begin touring Athens, the foundation of democracy. We visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and Erectheum before viewing Athens atop Mars Hill where Paul stood and preached the truth to the Gentile nation. Continue Your tour and visit the Ancient Agora, the heart of ancient Athens, the focus of political, commercial, administrative and social activity, the religious and cultural center, and the seat of justice. After lunch we will walk through the famous Plaka with a multitude of shops and cafes before returning to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 4
ANCIENT CORINTH / PIRAEUS
After breakfast, start to travel west together with your guide with a rest stop and photos at the Corinth Canal. Then travel to the ancient city of Corinth, another treat for the New Testament scholar. Corinth is the city that inspired many of Paul’s most familiar letters. See the Archaeological Museum, the Marketplace, the Bema, and the Temples. Enjoy a devotional amid the ruins of the church of Corinth and see the pillars, steps, and public worship place where Paul preached. You will enhance your understanding and love of I and II Corinthians. The ruins of this important cultural center are fascinating as you walk along the stone path that the Apostle Paul walked. The engineering skill and intellect of these people are evident in the water systems that still flow from ancient to modern day. Your guide will be sure to show you the room dedicated to the medical care of that period. After lunch return to Athens. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 5
MYKONOS
After breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to the port of PIRAEUS, where you board your cruise ship for your three-day cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey. That same afternoon, arrive at the island of Mykonos, with its whitewashed houses and winding streets. You are free to explore this picturesque island, startling white against the multi-hued sunset. Dinner and overnight aboard our ship.
DAY 6
SANTORINI
In the town of Thira white-washed houses, narrow streets, open-air cafes and glittering boutiques cling to steep cliffs, accessible by cable-car or mule. Explore the picturesque Oia village walking along the cobble-stone streets and the white washed houses with blue shutters. Dinner on board and overnight aboard our ship.
DAY 7
KUSADASI / EPHESUS / PATMOS
Arrive in Kusadasi where you will visit Ephesus, one of the largest and most famous archaeological sites in the world. Ephesus was an important city in the Roman Empire and is one of the “Seven Wonders of the World.” The roots of this impressive site go back to the 13th century B.C. Sail to Patmos. This island is known as the site of the apocalyptic Revelations of Apostle John the Theologian, written here during his exile from the Roman Empire. The cave where he lived is now the site of the Monastery of the Apocalypse. Afterward, have a group study before leaving the island. Dinner and overnight aboard our ship while sailing to Piraeus port for disembarkation.
DAY 8
FLIGHT TO ROME
This morning, fly to Rome, Your home for the next three nights. In the afternoon tour the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. After your guided tour, check in into your hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 9
ROME, ITALY
Begin your walking tour at the ancient Roman Forum, where Your guide will divulge its secrets. Visit the Arch of Titus which commemorated the sack of Jerusalem by Titus in AD 70. Step inside the Mamertine Prison, where tradition says the Apostle Paul was imprisoned. The Roman church believes that Peter was imprisoned here as well, but there is no imperial evidence that Peter was ever in Rome. Next, visit the Colosseum, where thousands of people and animals perished during gladiatorial games. The Colosseum first opened in AD 80 and within 100 days of its opening, 5000 wild beasts perished here. The slaughter of both humans and animals continued for three more centuries. Historians believe the Colosseum could hold between 40,000 and 80,000 people depending on how close the seating was. The floor has recently had a plank placed over the middle making it accessible for people to walk over the labyrinth of brick cells, ramps, and elevators used to transport animals and gladiators into the arena. Hear the stories of the games that have fascinated people for years. Additional
sites include the Arches of Constantine and Titus and Circus Maximum. Walk past the famous Spanish Steps, visit the amazing Pantheon and view the Trevi Fountain. Throw in a coin to ensure your return trip to Rome! Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 10
ROME, ITALY
This morning, visit the 4th century Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, the traditional site of Paul’s tomb. discuss St. Paul’s life and death in Rome. Late in the morning, visit the Scala Santa, where Martin Luther made his stand against the practice of indulgences. This fascinating museum houses the Steps from Pilot’s Judgment Hall in Jerusalem brought to Rome by Helena, the mother of Constantine. The practice today is to climb the steps on your knees, stopping to pray on each step. Our last stop today will be the Church of San Paolo Alla Regola, where it is said that Paul attended in the house excavated below the church building. It has perfect acoustics for a hymn of the faith and scripture reading of Paul’s writings. The remainder of your day is free to enjoy exploring Rome on your own. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11
HOMEWARD BOUND
This morning, you’ll transfer to the airport for our flight to the USA.

Corinth
Cross the Corinth Canal; 1st Century ruins, Agora, Temple of Apollo, and Bema seat; visit the Corinth Acropolis.

Deposits and Payments
A $350.00 deposit is required with each reservation form to guarantee booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. All checks should be made payable to Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd.
Tour Arrangements
Air – Air Arrangements are included in most group tours. Air is available to individual travelers upon request.
Land – All packages including overnight hotel stays are quoted based upon double occupancy sharing a twin or double room with private facilities. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. does not arrange sharing for individual travelers. Single rooms are available at additional cost. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. reserves the right to substitute hotels based upon availability when necessary. Sightseeing and entrance fees are included as per itinerary. Individual passengers and passengers arriving independently from a scheduled group are responsible for their own transfers.

Gratuities, airport taxes and transfers (unless specifically included in certain group tours), optional tours, charges for passports, vaccinations and inoculations, excess baggage charges, accident, trip cancellation and baggage insurance, telephone and cable charges, laundry, meals not specified in the itinerary, liquor, items of a personal nature and any items not specifically listed as included.

- From 45 days prior to departure date and on – full cancellation fee (100%)
Passports/Visa
You will be required to provide Coral Travel & Tours with a copy of your passport with final payment. Please Note: The State of Israel requires that your passport have an expiration date not less than 6 months after your date of arrival in Israel. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the United States traveling to Israel. Other nationals should contact their consulate for visa information. For other destinations please contact Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. Coral Travel & Tours does NOT process visa applications. No inoculations are currently required for travel to Israel. Please contact public health authorities for further information or other destinations.
Fuel Surcharge
Please note fuel surcharges are set by the airline and Coral Travel & Tours has no control over nor receives advance notice of changes. Due to fluctuating global oil prices, the fee may change. The airline will only guarantee the fee at time of ticketing. If the airline imposes an increase, the difference will be the responsibility of each traveler and will be collected prior to departure.

Baggage
Suitcases: 1 per person, not to exceed 50 lbs. for 1 bag. Each can measure up to 62 linear inches (length + height + width). Carry On Luggage: 1 per person, not to exceed 11 lbs. Each can measure up to 45 linear inches (length + height + width).
Deviations
Any change in the basic program will result in the charge of $150 per change per person plus any additional charges that may apply for revised air or land arrangements.
